Insurance is tricky. If you find that services are not covered, it may be possible to be reimbursed. As an out of network provider, I would supply you a superbill to submit to insurance for reimbursement.

I accept most Blue Cross PPO, Blue Shield PPO, Anthem PPO, Cigna PPO and VA CCN (Veterans Affairs Community Care Network) plans as well as most plans that utilize MultiPlan and PNOA. I am also able to accept UHC (HMO & Commercial plans in 49 states [Hawaii pending] for in-person consultations only). Please note that PNOA and MultiPlan logos will appear alongside other payers on the medical insurance card like Aetna or UHC. If the card includes the PNOA or MultiPlan logos, I may be able to take them.

A prenatal appointment is important for a number of reasons. Studies have shown that education and preparation for breastfeeding supports a longer breastfeeding journey. The critical time for breastfeeding is the first 7 days, so when you are prepared and educated for what’s to come, the first 7 days can be easier.
In our prenatal appointment, we will discuss items you may need, a basic introduction to latch and positioning, how to coordinate feeding times, common challenges, and milk storage guidelines.
